For our first collaboration with Unimatic, we explored the theme of white. Now we dive into the world of blue with the Unimatic x Revolution U1 Milsub ‘Blue’, a stunning monochromatic take on the iconic military diver with a unique distressed ceramic coating. This vivid execution of the 41.5mm steel watch plays with expectations as to what a dive watch is, while still offering a tough, capable timepiece rated to 300 meters. Of course, visibility under all conditions is a key requirement of a diver, and luminous elements are something we love deeply here at Revolution, so it should come as no surprise that the dial, hands and bezel absolutely pop when the lights are low. And of course, we’ve used blue luminous material wherever possible.

A Unique Coat

The case is executed in a cerulean blue Cerakote, with a distressed finish that allows the steel underneath to shine through, a reminder that for all that the blue is very stylish, this watch is perfectly capable of anything you throw at it.

The distinctive dial layout is a hallmark of Unimatic’s watches. Here, we’ve executed every element possible in blue, including the lume.

Vital Statistics

At 41.5mm across, this solid steel watch is rated to 300 meters. It is equipped with a thick sapphire crystal and aluminium bezel insert, so while the style may be vintage, the execution is contemporary.

Strapped Up

We’ve offered two straps with this watch: a handsome navy fabric strap as well as a vintage navy NATO strap with textile keepers, perfect for when you’re keeping it casual.
