In the cover story, we spotlight Hublot’s “MP” or Manufacture Piece collection, which is specifically dedicated to complication watches and extraordinary movements that are products of cutting- edge research in the fields of mechanics and engineering.

This year, the manufacture enriched the collection with three new MP-09 models in white, orange and violet-colored 3D carbon. Combined with black carbon fiber, the introduction of these new hues adds another dimension to the MP-09’s established design.

For Bulgari Serpenti devotees, the Roman jeweller takes the high jewellery route as it celebrates the 75th anniversary of its iconic serpent with the exquisite Serpent Misteriosi secret watch featuring the ultra-small Piccolissimo calibre BVL 100.

Then, we look back at 2023’s phenomenal array of watch launches from major brands, small ateliers, and independent watchmakers. Boasting a combination of modernity and tradition, the year’s trends were aplenty, including the resurgence of minimalism, smaller-sized watches, and the revival of heritage-inspired designs.
