Following the success of the first two sold-out collaborations, Revolution is collaborating once more with Atelier Wen, the independent brand that is tapping into some of the very best artisanal and watchmaking capabilities to represent the very best of Chinese horology. Named ‘粹 Cùi’, meaning "purity and essence", our third limited edition pairs the contemporary aesthetic of the 40mm integrated titanium case and bracelet with a stunningly intricate silver guilloché à main dial meticulously crafted by Master Cheng’s workshop, the most complicated pattern ever produced by the brand. The monochrome palette is punctuated by heat-blued hands that provide a brilliant pop of color, and the hour and minute hands, as well as the outer minute track, are filled with Super-LumiNova for legibility in all conditions.

Due to the complexity of the dial, only 50 pieces have been produced in this limited-edition. It comes on a brushed Grade 5 titanium bracelet, complete with polished inner angles and on-the-fly micro-adjustment, as well as an additional grey rubber strap.


Shipping will commence mid to end of September.

GULLOCHЀ BRILLIANCE

The guilloché pattern found on 粹 Cùi is meticulously handcrafted in Master Cheng’s workshop, and is the most complicated work ever put out by the brand. Creating this pattern demanded the synchronized efforts of three artisans, working together for up to 36 hours without interruption. The precision required is extraordinary: a cutting error exceeding 0.002 millimeters becomes glaringly obvious with this intricate design. Any visible mistake meant a do-over; the resulting yield rate is just fifty percent, and the result is nothing short of spectacular.

SPORTS CHIC SPLENDOR

The proportions of this Atelier Wen Perception are practically perfect for a modern sports watch. The case itself, architectural in nature with its rounded octagonal shape, is inspired by the concave outline of traditional Chinese pagoda rooftops. The 40mm width is offset with a very slender 9.4mm height, achieved thanks to a slim SL1588 caliber.

LIGHTNESS OF BEING

Both the case and bracelet are made from grade 5 titanium, making for a lightweight on-the-wrist experience. Of course, with 100 meters of water resistance, it lives up to its sports watch promise.

EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS

The integrated titanium bracelet looks and feels good from every angle. While the H-links have been brushed to minimize the appearance of scratches, the inner angles have been polished to a high shine, subtly dancing in the light to create a wonderful visual nuance.
